I am in the town of Pride La. It is in the north-east corner of East Baton Rouge Parish. It is about a 30 minute ride from I-12 at Denham Springs.

Went riding yesterday and found some trails to get to Sandy Creek across the street. Cought 2 catfish, one over 1.5 pound.

Heya fellas, Im down in Chauvin, 13 miles south of Houma, 19 miles from the end of the hiway. Last weekend we went out to the Spillway, may be going again soon. If there is enough interest, I will post when we make another trip. Dave

Hey Dave I have some friends in Metarie that I can get to go also. Last time I was there everything was wide open now you have to wear helmets and alot of trails are closed. I know the helmet thing is true, but how about the trails?

We went 2 weekends ago, It is divided into 2 areas, I call em the Wooods and the Sand. When we went the Woods were closed but the Sand area was open. Supposedly they are rebuilding the trails. Here is a link to the site (http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/recreation/Recreation_Sites_Bonnet_Carre.asp)
