A few weeks ago I posted a request for help with regards to removing the rear axle of a 1985 TRi-Z. I remember TIM SNR answered and said to remove the two locking nuts and then the driven sprocket carrier SHOULD slide off. Well I took the whole rear axle to a mate of mine, who's an engineer with all the necessary cooking and whacking gear to try and tear it down. He's got the beast now and just requested a bit more info, if anyone has any further advice as to exactly how the thing is assembled. We can't see how the star shaped bit stays on the axle, there's no key or anything like that holding it on is there? Anyway if anyone has any further help or desciptions of what we should be seeing it would be a real help, sorry to keep goin on about this I just want to get it right! Cheers.
