Does anybody know where to get flat track tires that will fit a trike, I know they used to sell them, I've seen them in old magazines, but can't find them anywhere now, they usually have the "s" tread and I think the popular size is 18x9.5-8. I want to put them on my 85 200x

It's under construction right now, I'm redoing the motor .040 over, 12:1 wiseco piston and a web camshaft, so I don't have any pics right now, but hopefully soon, I will post them

Fast trekkers would be great in an 18inch size cause they have very little grip. Try www.hoosiertire.com the Tri-trac would be a good choice and turf tamers would work well too.
If you really want "the look" then go to the local Tractor Supply store and find some 18inch lawnmower tires, thats what flattrack tires were esentially.
Dammit!

Thats true, back in the day all flat tracks were was lawnmower tires. The only thing different we did was custom groove each tire depending on track conditions.

Duro makes an HF-245 which is a flat track design. Dennis Kirk sells them. We are running Turf Saver tires which is a lawn mower tire on TimJr's E-Ton. Its a tread pattern that works well for flat track.

Yeah, and they dont tear up your yard as much. Watch out in wet grass though, donuts can be addicting!

golf cart tires make good flat trackers 18x9.5x8 .Can get them at walmart for about $40 a pair.American Racer or Hoosier makes the best flat track tires nowadays. 20x10x10 $190 a pair.3 or 4 compounds to choose from. Unless your racing competitively,I'd go with the golfcart/lawn tractor tires. sry for the quad pics,,Just focus on the tires. :) On the blk blaster are the walmart dico turfsaver 18's. On the white blaster is a set of bran spankin new American Racer 20 inchers.

,,NOTE: The black blaster became the pile of parts infront of the white Blaster. :) Needed the motor and a few other parts
