200x block off plate

.. when I bought my x someone made a block off plate ... now that i got the seals for the piston .. and try it out I come to find out that it dont look like there would be enough room for the rotor to fit between the two pads ... does anyone have any ideas? .. cause the block off plate stops the piston from going in far enough .. I dont get it ?.. how should a block off plate work?

You said someone made a block off plate. Is it flat or is it recessed? Like this one. If it's flat then that's your problem.
