will the 81-82-250r DG pipe fit the 83-84-250r

I was asking the same question last month when looking for a pipe for my 81 R. And what I read is the 83-84 pipe will not fit on and 81-82. I ended up getting a brand new Cobra Pipe of ebay. Talk about a power increase on the bottom end! :beer

I do not think they are interchangeable from what I heard. However, I need to double check, but seems like I might have one with that 83 motor I got as a spare. I'll have to go peek.

no they wont the frames are different and were the mount and bend is different

The only problem I had when mounting a 82 pipe on (my 84 R), was the top of the pipe hit the top of the engine, and that caused the whole thing to come out of whack. I'm sure it wouldnt be hard to MAKE it fit.

Freak...

I looked and I did have a DG Pipe with that 83 spare motor. I compared it to my 82 DG Pipe and it does look a little different, especially the angle of the pipe into the silencer.

Get ahold of me.... I'm going to start selling parts that are in my way. You get first dibs since you hooked me up with all those 350X parts last year.

That includes 125m parts, 200X frames, 110 frame, 83-84R parts, and duplicate 350X and 81-82 R Parts.
