I have a friend with a racher wit hthe electronic shifting on it. We were riding it and hit a small hill, got some air. And now it wont shift or anything. It doent even make a noise like its trying to shift anymore. I manualy shifted it back into Neutral when we got it home by putting a wrench on the shift peg sticking out at the bottom of the case. Anyone know what might cause these things t oall the suddon stop shifting??

hhmmm...typical new Honda. lol, j/k.
I haven't even looked at an ES model yet or how exacly it works, but going by the term "electric" shift and the fact that you and your friend hit a jump, my guess is that the battery or some other electrical connection got jarred loose.

Took it to the shop..took the guy 5 mins to find out it broke the Wire harness that holds it to some shifting sensor... gota replace the whole electric harness now... Wow.. what technology gets you these days..lol but i am using Duct tape for now

i have a es 450, normally it is the cam sensor, not the shift motor

can't you just solder the wire back together instead of buying a whole noew harness?
