Man, I rode my 350X pretty hard this afternoon. She did great. Man, the biggest adjustment im going to have to make is the combination of: hard turns, down shifting with the manual clutch, and shifting my weight all at the same time. I have had a auto clutch on all the other trikes that I have had over the years. I had to down shift in a couple of hard turns and turn arounds while gassing it. It was a bit tricky, but I managed. Its definately going to take some getting use to. What do you guys think. Does it come pretty easy after a few rides. I imagine it does. After all I have ridden about everything out there. I just sold my XR500R, I rode it quite a bit. Im thinking about replacing the new bars I put on it with a little higher rise. Stock is about 5 inches. I put some 3" on there. Maybe it will help a bit. Any experience in making the switch to the manual clutch. :beer

Getting crazy on the 350X Clay? Let see some action pics. I have never owned an auto clutch but I love the manual clutch. Grabbing gears and revving our the bike is part of challenge and fun of riding. A few more rides and you'll be at home with it.

Yeah, I ripped thru the gears pretty good. :D Yeah. Its a lot different. But im sure i will learn. The armorall i put on the seat didnt help much either  But I have gotten most of it off now.

I always marinate my seats in armor all so they look good on display in the garage, but when I go riding I take a light amount of gas and wipe off some of the pimp juice so I don't slide off the back.

try not using the clutch clay. like only for take offs + stops but just slip shift it.
it really ain't recommendedd to do it and probbly ain't good for it if you are really banging gears hard but i've found the 350x's are about the easiest to slip shift . i normally don't use the clutch except for start - stop - coasting.

Same with me. I bent my clutch lever so its a pain to squeeze it through all the gears so I just use it for take off and stopping.

Just shift, don't pull in the clutch.

I will give it a try guys. I will prob just do it when cornering or turning rear hard. To slip shif, you just shift without using the clutch lever. Just as if if is a auto. :beer
