My uncle has an older one, I'd say a 70's model. I think he paid like $100 for it. It's definetely different that's for sure. I don't think it really goes any more places than any other dirt bike.

i've read ride reports on them. they are mainly for farming and hunting and about only good for that they are slow compared to a trike or dirtbike more like walking or lawnmower paced but will climb anything till the tires start bouncing.

That's a lot of $ for something that isn't too impressive.

I think my XR500 will go up a steeper hill than that thing.

It might, but it also might leave you on your back. Rokon's are pretty sick machines. I hear the rims are hollow so you can fill them with water or gas. they are more of a machine you would take into unbroken land with now trails because they aren't as wide as an ATV/ATC, but have the traction and power to go through most anything. Its more of an industrial machine than a recreational bike.

It just another tool, just not the tool of my choice for that kind of stuff.

well i have 2 rokons i have 1 i kept for my self and 1 parts one for parts and then i fixed up another rokon for a guy and sold it to him, I have a late 70's earlie 80's model "trail-breaker" they will go up, over, threw, around, and float threw just about anything there are almost impossible to get stuck in the mud, the only way it could happen if it happened to stall or sucked up wayer to the carb, plug wire came lose or you got into sume 4 feet deep mud, there pritty much impossile to get stuck and if you get coughtin a root and fall ovr they will stay running, they do have holow rims you can store water, beverages, gasoline, liquids in the rims, they have an aircleaner that does not **** up water, it **** the air outa the water if you get deep enuf , they are loud, they are chain driven to both wheeles via a torque converter or a 3 speed suicide shift, thats pritty much all i can think of now.

I wonder if you could somehow adapt that torque converter thing to the front of a trike to make it 3 WHEEL DRIVE!!

from what i have seen it would be possible to make a 3x3 the rokons have a chain that runs to a gear box near the steering head that has a shaft with u-jionts like a truck then that shaft goes to another box that has a sproket on the side with a chain going to the wheel. I have thought about making a 3x3 or a 2x2 but never go around to it. Seems like they still make the rokon trail breaker I belive i saw an ad for it in a hunting magazine, or maybe its a tote-gote

Someone seriously needs to change the word filter.
I tired to drive my bike through a lake and it started to **** in water. Rediculous.
