Anyone have a duncan racing paul turner high rev on there atc250r? I have a 85" with a FMF that came on it so i cant compare it to stock, and i havent ridden any others equipped with any other pipe. From some of the posts i've read, the fmf doesent sound that great. Any word from someone with non fmf pipe experience will help. thanks guys!

If you have the standard FMF on your bike, it's a good stock replacement like the DG, but it doesn't do much for performance. I've heard people say that the Fatty FMF is a good pipe.

I personally run PT Hi-Revs on both of my bikes and they work well. There is a noticable power gain even for the "seat of your pants" evaluation. I used to have the PT Type 6 pipe and the Hi-Rev made big gains over that pipe too. I may be biased, but my friends agreed with me and bought the Hi-Rev too.

There was a post that talked about the ESR pipes as well and it came with good reviews.

When I built my 330 motor, ESR said that I didn't have to upgrade the pipe because it was a good pipe for big bore motors too. It's your choice, but the PT works well for me.

I included a pic so you can see what it looks like on a bike. I got the bling bling version because the standard pipe comes unpainted and rusts fast. I've had the chromed one on my bike since 1997 and it still looks good. I hope this helps.

I have the paul turner mid type pipe with an LRD silencer on it. All I have to say is WOW. This thing rocks. Like stated above DG and FMF are fine for stock replacement or some bling bling chrome pipes but they just dont give the R what it needs to really show the power. If you get a chance I would recommend 100% to get one.............peace

I used to have a PT high rev (it got thrown in the freakin' trash after I moved away from my parents house if you can believe that). Now I've got the FMF fatty on there. It's a decent pipe that made noticably more top end versus stock but nothing compared to the PT. The PT sounded a lot better too in my opinion. Great pipes.

Great feedback! i'm thinkin the high rev cause i ride dunes alot, but i dont want to kill the bottom completely cause i have a track at home, and it's not a wide open kind of track. But i can always switch back to the fmf for home if it's too bad. Just lookin for a lil more mid-top end in the sand. But if it brings the bottom up also, thats a plus.

I put the type6 pipe on my 85 and it really brought the bottom end alive,I can't vouch for the high rev pipe though.Duncan said the high rev was good for a 23% gain over stock in the mid to top end .If you ride alot of dunes thats the pipe I would go with,I ride more trails and tech hills,so the tourqe was good for me.They are a good quality pipe and you should be happy with it.

Id like to get an ESR or PT for my 85R. I know I can still the ESR new but what about the PT? Do I have to hunt one down on ebay?
