Need opinions... 250R front fender extender...

Ok... bought this Hondaline front fender extender off from blazerone22 (thanks again man!) ...

I think it's really for a 83-85 200X, but thought it might work on my 82R... should I mount it or not? What do you all think?

Makes it look like a big nose stuck out there. I personally dont like the look. Im sure its functional, but I would have to pass on installing it.

I have one of those on my 82 200X. They do block the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro that flies off of the front tire. The make the fender flap in the wind kinda bad. You will need to install a brace on the front fender. There was a OEM HondaLine brace available that went with the fender. The one I had got broken, and we replaced it with a couple of pieces of flat bar. This is not a great pic of the fender, If you want a close up, I can snap a pic in the next couple of days

If you run through alot of mud, & I mean soupy / deep ones, then sure use it. Otherwise I think it really belongs on a more utility type trike. To me the 2strokes aren't meant for mud bog'n. ;)

it looks to me by the pics that you got other atc's around, so therfore id put it on that machine, it looks kinda cool, if anything it would make a great conversation piece.

Thanks for the opinions.... I do mainly trail ride with it. I thought it looked cool... especially since I have one on the Showgirl 350X. It's too big to fit on the 350X and with the huge "H" on it, I'd never put it on the Yamaha... hmmm... my last name starts with a H though.. :p
