Went by the Honda dealer to pic up a few things today. The parts guys were dying for me to bring it by when I got done with it. So I did. Keep in mind this is a pretty good size dealer. Before I could kill the truck, 5 guys including the owner and a customer came out and started drooling. :naughty: They could not believe the condition its in. All the reproduction decals blew them away also. The mechanics in the back herd about the comotion and cam and checked it out too. :D Yes im proud :D I told them that I would have to bring my 87 BigRed by there some time. AHH. This was a good day. :w00t:

Oh Yeah. They couldnt believe the 450R exhaust I put on it. They were shocked, but impressed with the exhaust. Keep in mind that 350Xs and 250Rs are extremely rare down in the deep south. I have only seen 3 of them, and one of those was mine. The other 2 I saw were being sold.

Yeah.. I know the feeling.... the brakes on the "Go-Go" were not bled before that Dice Run I went on a month back, so I ended up taking the Showgirl. I got there before Steve (YTZ250#1) and parked it within eye sight while I waited in this huge line to register.... tons of people were looking at it and reminising.... and I must of had about 4-6 offers to buy it while on the run!

Nope... NOT FOR SALE!!!

What I wouldn't have done to see the looks on their faces.
That had to be priceless, Clay.

It's great being in the company of those who KNOW what you've got and it's heritage/history.

I have yet to hear a foul word from someone about my trikes, either (other than the "be careful, those things are dangerous" ).
When I go to the dealer to get parts, they just smile and say, "I remember those.....great bikes....".
Heck, the same folks still work the parts counter there, where I bought my first trike: a BRAND NEW '84 200S.
Cool, VERY cool.

Building up the perfect trike: To much money

Seeing the look on peoples faces when they see it: Priceless

there are some things money can't buy, for everything else, there's high interest rates

Way 2 go Clay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Never seen a 350X in person!! I seriously don't feel so bad about living in Kansas anymore. Trikes are still plentiful here and 250R's and 350X's are not uncommon at all. I have owned many of each. Too bad you guys don't live closer cause there are way too many three wheelers here that are just rotting away, or being scrapped out and need good homes. I'm not bragging, just considering myself lucky.

the people at tracks around me and the honda dealer think I am crazy, I love the look when you you pass 3/4 of the people on a 20 yr old, 1/3 displacement and 1/2 hp trike. Many look in amazement. The guys at the honda dealer are totally confused about the 350x/84r front end, 84r axle, 86/87 trx roll pegs, xr200 carb, 350x supertrapp, it blows their mind. This is on a 86 200x. About half of them never seen my atc250r with a short track, 310pv, lsr rear end, beadlocks and such. My trikes cause quite a stir too. I even had travis spader, pat brown, dunkabuyrger(sp), jason lurenchburg(sp) amazed at my trikes and they said it to me. I remember one time chris borich and some gncc pro's saw it too. I heard about their comments and the general consesness was "holy ****, I haven't seen one of those in 20 years, especailly riding like he is and that kind of shape"

When I took my 200x to the Honda dealer to get the off-road sticker the guys at the dealer came out like they had not seen a three wheeler in years. Now they just kid around with me when I come in. They can't believe that I am still riding the 200x even after I bought the Rancher.

Where at in Indiana are you? Come south of the border we have 350x's in Ky. I bet a few weeks ago there where more 350x's in Indiana than any other state. I wonder how many 350x's were at trikefest? They seemed to be the most common. Or I just paid more attention to them since thats what I ride? either way there was a lot of 350's
