Does anybody know or have a guess at how fast an 2000 XR 100 dirtbike would go? I think it would do about 50-55.

40mph tops. My modded TTR125 does maybe 50 with stock gearing.

hmm thats odd, i know for a fact that my friends 81 Xr100 dose like 53-55 stock......i would tink the 2000 would be better...hmmmmm

what has he done to it. that thing must have been geared way up my friends 81 XR80 was geared like a tractor.

i dont know, as far as wee know its all stock, he got it from his uncle, re-built it, its got piles of torque it only has a front fender and somewhat of a back fender, ductaped seat, and all the baffels and everything where re-moved from the exaust pipe, there is some holes in the pipe, someone welded a huge tip on the end like wide...the thing sounds beastly, and it has a slightly burnt exaust valve becuse it burns oil like a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro...lol but besides that i dunno, ill count cogs next time i see it :)

well if the pipe is gutted then its not stock now is it. how was his speed measured?

well ok...almost stock..lol well my friends 200m was clocked at 52mph by a radar gun, and the xr beats it in the top end by a bit so 52-55 is a rough estimate....this was also on gravel btw...

your friends got some balls to be riding a 200m at 52mph. the speed on my bike was a guess as well i have a trail tech speedometer now so i should know how fast it goes the next time i go riding.

So everyone agrees on 40mph? That seems about how fast it felt when i drove it.
