Yamaha rack availibility

I am interested in getting a rear rack for my recently aquired 85 TRM 200. I'm new to the Yamahas- I found the little front rack, but I only found the rear rack for the 225 DX, which I am pretty sure won't fit my bike. I can tell there was one on mine before, so I know something is out there. I have tried Denniskirk, bikebandit and JCW with no luck for my particular application. Anyone with suggestions?

where did you find the rear rack for the 225? ive been looking for one..

Jesse, go to denniskirk.com and go to the atv category, then click "racks and extensions" and key in your application. I think it's $40 for the front and $70 for the rear. Good luck. No luck yet on mine.... :cry:

i coudlnt find em, but i put in for my bike the year and all that junk and nothing came up... i freggin let a set go on ebay it went for 24 bux.. but i wasnt around to bid on it at the end :( ill keep an eye out for yours in my searching.. damn honda boys got the market on lock :(

check out my other bikes :D :D My loyalty only has been recently compromised. And furthermore, If Parts are so hard to come by for the yammies, I'll be selling a TRM 200 soon :naughty: . Guess Honda has spoiled me with the availability of parts.

I think I may have a rear rack or two and a front one. I will look around tommorow to see if I can find one.

I cannot tell for sure, but as Jesse pointed out, the 225 racks look awfully close to bolting up to the '85 YTM 200. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!

look at the frames, hell if you have another rear rack, it would save me from building one.. how much would ya want for it? thats if you have 2 of em..

Hmmmm.... I got a small heard of racks with a bunch of Yamaha parts I bought. I thought the 200ERN and 225DX rear racks were the same. I know the front racks are slightly different due to the width of the forks.

You know, the closer I look at them, the 225 racks bolt right onto the 200. The best thing would be for someone who has both bikes to scope it out for us. Either way, If 350XinNY, aaakoalski, or jesse comes upon a rear rack they'd like to sell to me- consider it SOLD!

Or, anyone with a 225 dx that has a rack, pop a close pic of the rear of the bike so I can compare. I have never studied a 225 dx that closely
