Would it be a good project?

I can get a 185s that has been siting in a field that has a locked up motor missing seat and back plastic for dirt cheap like $20 it has awsome tires on it. But it has full suspension do 185s have this or is a 200x with 185 plastic? I was thinking of putting a 2 stroke dirtbike motor in it i have a 125 and a 250 one laying around. He won't give it to me because he want to use the rear end to make a trailer like a small dump cart or some thing. :rolleyes: So would do you think the motor looks like a 185s it might have some 200x forks and a swingarm grafted in there I'm confused.

I'm cornfuzed too :? If it has full suspension than it is probably a 200x with a 185 motor in it. If the motor is pull start and has a automatic tranny(no clutch lever on the handlebars) then it is a 185 motor. so to answer your question it probably is a 200x chassie with a 185 motor in it.

for tweny bucks,,, get it. it's a honda at any rate. put tranny fluid in the spark plug hole, keep it full for a couple of days then try to get it freed up. maybe even cut the tranny fluid with some deisle fuel, it makes a heck of a penitrating solution. just take your time with it + you will probbly get running if just froozen up from sitting so long.

Didn't really get that ether i will try to get some pics. It has a pull start and no clutch it don't really have much supension like 2 or 3 in the back and 5 or so in the front. I think it is a 185 it looks to be welded on and hacked up kinda rigged up in there it's swing arm looks like my old blaster one

I hate it when the YOKLES who bought trikes in the 80's used them for more than utility work and welded all kind of farm implements on them. It makes our job of restoring theses things that much harder.

It could be a full suspension kit for the 185. You could buy them back in the day.
