vin number location

my buddy just bought a 300ex but we cant find the vin to determine what year it is...anyone know where its located?


btw, he traded it for a go-cart, was told the starter was bad, but the battery was bad...go figure :)

hey, look behind the front bumper, between the upper bumper brackets.

If it's not there, check on the left side of the frame. The lowest rail. It should be there.
