the clutch on my 85r has been acting up.it will be fine for a whille and then it will start slipping and the bike won't go,i can put it in gear but it won't roll,i adjust the lever so it has less tension on it and it will be fine for hour or two then it won't go in gear with out stalling,so i adjust it back out and it is fine for an hour then it starts all over, will go in gear but won't move ,WTF is going on,recently went to bel-ray synthetic oil.thanks

My guess is that you have some deep grooves on the clutch basket. remove the clutch cover and check it out, if you have grooves just file the basket flat and go again.

That and the clutches may be swelling after they get hot. My old XR500R would slip until it got warmed up, then it would hook up just fine.
