Kinda reminds me about the other day, I was looking at the new Raptor 660 in Mossy Oak camo plastics. I thought, like, wtf??? I was kind of laughing and the sales guy came over to ask what was so funny.
"Who's going to creep up on wild game in a 660R?" I asked.
He laughed too.
"You wouldn't believe how many of these we sell," he said.
I just nodded.
"Oh, yes I would," I said.
Cool looking Raptors in camo, though. Not exactly practical for hunting, ha ha. But I'm sure that's not the point of them. The poitn of them is to sell more Raptors, of course!

No, it wouldn't It would look rediculous. Maybe cool with blaze orang woodchuck riding gear. LOL

I don't see what is so bad about them. I mean I think it is pretty cool. I would buy one for my rancher, because I hunt with it, and sometimes I take my 350x around scouting(I put the stock pipe back on!!) and I wouldn't mind one, I dont see what the big deal is. Its kind of like a cheap replacement right?

What I dont get is a camo seat on a passion red coloured machine! Considering that deer are colour blind it shouldn't matter, it doesn't really matter what color the machine is, they will still hear it anyway. It is still kind of cool in its own right though. Not as cool as camo miniskirts though.

I need a fly rod holder for my 250r.

Hey man, I AM a redneck and I wouldn't buy that thing. A 250R is an odd choice to make a camo seat cover for. I'd damn sure get the rebel flag one though! Keep it flying!

Not as cool as camo miniskirts though. Sorry to get off topic, but for one deer can see pigments of pink and white. And what a lot of people often over look is, if they ARE color blind, then why do people wear camo..well thats easy, you stand in open hardwoods wearing regular clothes, then you have someone standing next to you in complete camo, the deer will notice you because
they can notice the human outline, and camo breaks that up..sorry just wanted to let you know that :w00t:

I am aware that the purpose of camo is to break up the human outline (been a hunter forever), what I'm saying is any machine no matter how many wheels to it has a very un-natural outline, and deer notice movement, so no matter how much camo you put on the machine it will never go totally unnoticed. I think the camo seat cover (for a 250r anyway) is more of a fashion statement than anything else, designed to make you get noticed more, sort of like camo miniskirts, truckseat covers, etc. etc.

Its a matter of taste, we could have a pissing match here or we could agree to disagree. I like the camo seat cover cause it would go with the green theme of my bike and camo is a fashion statement in its own right. How many members have or would like to have camo riding gear from Thor or Shift? Also just because you buy a camo seat cover for your bike doesn't mean your going to hunt with it, they probably just like the look of it. If they do hunt with it they are a damn fool, how the hell are you goin to sneak up on a wild animal on a 250R? I know I can't sneak up on any animal on my Kodiak and its tons quieter than my DG exhaust on the Tecate.

Nah animals arent afraid of equipment around here, unless you stop or shut them off. I used to log with my dad, and the deer would walk up to the skidder and see what it was..they are never afraid of them around here. I mean crap, this year I was going hunting on my 350x and thats piped and loud as HELL!! I saw a doe and she didnt even mind it, I just kept going let her be. But idk, I guess animals are differernt where you live.

I went riding last month and ran onto an open marsh and just barely caught a glimpse of his hind as he bolted into the woods. I rarely see a rabbit even.
Deer are stupid as sin anyhow, yee people feed them sure so why would they be afraid, they prollay come looking expecting food lol.

I personaly like camo clothes, especially miniskirts (on chicks of course). I'd buy a camo seat for my big red if there was one, and I'd get a camo seat cover for my truck if it weren't worth more than the truck seat itself (my truck has custom duct-tape chrome deluxe seats!)
putting that on a 250R is like puting a bikini on a 400 pound chick!...you just dont do it!

Sorry but it looks pretty cool.
Now if you really want to sneak up on them, but a car muffler on a scat tracker. It won't make any noise at all. (Or just a gokart)
