put a 350x swingarm on a 200x

after about 4 hours labor and dozenz of swear words I put the ol' 350's swingarm and shock on the 200x. first I pushed the needle bearings where the piviot bolt goes through in about a 1/4 in. then I cut off the exess metal so it would measure out at 7and 3/4 the same as the 200x's then just bolt it up. you do have to move the bottom shock mount forward about 1 inch. cut it off and weld it back on in new spot. when my friend gets his digital camera working on his computer. this was alot easier to to for me than making a new shock mount on the 200's swingarm for the 350's shock

cool i would like to see that setup. i just used the 350x shock and lower shock mount and made it fit my 200x swing arm. I was not hard at all. but 350x swing arm would be a way better setup. Is it longer than stock now. Is the 350x axle wider than the 200x.

so far it's a sweet setup!! the swingarm on the 350x is 1 1/4 longer than the 200x and the stance from center of tire to the center of the other tire is exactally 1''. everything is alot stronger from the 350x. man I can't wait to ride the thing :twisted:

Now you should put the 200x stuff on the 350x just so you could push it around it would look funny :D
