Glamis Trikefest??????

hey i was wondering y dont we have a trick fest at glamis? lets set up a time and place iam willin to organize this, i think it would be cool with a group of 15+ trikes and go all over the dunes, show comp and olds who still rules LOL. anyone up for it?

What Month??? Im kinda Saving my Vac. for 7 Days at Pismo over Turkey Day Week...Glamis is about 11 hrs for me but willing to make the trip if I have enough time... :w00t:

I have a trip planned for glamis over chrismas and new year's for the end of the year. I live on the east coast so it's a very long hual for me but if you plan on something arounf then I'll be there I plan on getting there around dec 20th and leaving about jan 6th an take a couple day's off riding to go sight seeing too.

I just converted about a dozen "Pizmoers" over the NewYears holiday @ Gordins Well!!! They are ALL going back for another run @ it this coming weekend!!! Don't get me wrong but they really liked the large scale dunes in the Imperial area over going to the ocean. They have me convinced that Pizmos still the place to go in the middle of the Summer. ;)

If you love the dunes and live in So. Cal you do both. Just finished 5 days in Glamis . Going back on Pres.Day. There is 12 in this pic.We had 4 200x and 3 more 250r's not on this trip .

well glamis is the all around place to go. Glamis u are right smack dab int he middle of everything. you guys come ridin with me and my dad and he will show u places were the dunes havent been touched in along time, i made a run to gordens over thanksgivin its a long haul but had a 2 gallon tank straped on my six pack rack. also had 5 water bottles with 2 stroke oil in between the air-boxes of 2 185s the 185s went there and back and had about quater of the tank but the R's both died about 100 yards from camp.

not to mention the "mag burners"...making Mother "G" heavily patroled...

I have to agree that gordons (and when i say gordons im refering to buttercup and olgiby too) is a premium place :beer

...besides , its only about a 20 mile sand trip to Mother "G" from Gordons if anyone gets a hair up their pipe...

as far as a "triketoberfest" anywhere down south in the imperial desert ...."Me and Nick are there"

If we do it at Ogilby I will definitly be there. I know the Gordon's well / Glamis dunes like the back of my hand. I have been camping out there for 24 years. Ogilby I feel is the best because we are more secluded and able to what ever with out fear from rangers raining on our parade. Also from the Microwave tower at Ogilby to the Glamis store is a 20 minute ride if you know how to get there. ;)

Never sine a Ranger neer our camp.So few people your stoked to see another group. Glamis is different in my world . Who lives in So. Cal can go to Bomont or Cathederal City for the day.Ill be in Glamis on Pres.Day not looking for a trike fest but would like if some of you stopped by to twist.
