350x rear master cylinder question

I went riding when it was really cold out and my rear brake pedal hit the bottom. There is no pressure at all now even when it is warm so Im thinking the master cylinder went on me. Question is, is there a place to get a rear master cylinder rebuild kit? I have found front rebuild kits but no rear one? Anyone know where to get one or if they are made?

Mine does this once in awhile also. I think its because there is a slow leek on the seal that is located on the back side of the piston where the small part of the piston goes through the caliper for the parking brake. You might just want to try bleeding the brakes first and see if that helps. If it does be sure to keep the resivour full of brake fluid.

I might be wrong but thought there wasn't any avialable rear mastercyclinder rebuild kits available, just front ones.

i bought a rear master cylinder rebuild kit for my 85 350x about 2 years ago. i believe it was a k&s. i do know i had to take it back to the local shop and exchange it to what i matched it up to.also the cups ended up being installed backwards.no pressure after rebuilding it. dennis kirk has a moose listed but doesn't say frt or rear. pt#19-4009

Thanks I got it to work with out a rebuild. I put a garbage (tusk) parking brake block off on the caliper and it was leaking through it.

There should be no fluid in the parking brake area. There is an oring that seals the small piston that the e brake screw pushes. I rebuilt my rear caliper with all Honda seals and orings and it was only about $20 for the parts.
