200X Value?

What is an '83 200X worth in fair shape? I have located one for $500. It is supposed to be running and the plastics OK. Thanks!

right now I have my own 200X, same year as yours, with everything modified on it, it;s practicly new, I once had an offer of 1200$, but that was a once in a life time. 500$ could be a good price but, still, ask for more, you will get it!

It all depends on supply and demand in your location. Here in OKC a complete 200x everything working, fair plastics/seat, minor tank dents/rust, and motor running but smokes goes between $500 - $600. In North Arkansas the same trike not running goes for the same price.

It is not mine, I am looking at one to buy. I found out a few more things. It does smoke and the back brake does not work. The front plastic fender is cracked/broke. He says that it looks real good for it's age. (Whatever that means) I have not seen it yet, so I can't vouch for anything else. He says that it fires right up and it runs great. (It just smokes a little) Thanks for the replies! Does it still sound about right? Thanks!

I agree with mountainryder. At least go for $400. Its worked for me :-D

If someone trying to sell you something says it smokes a little, that usually means it is a bug fogger. Plan on putting rings in it.

Yup, I already figured on that. ;) I actually wanted something to work on for the winter. My quad just needed maintenance. I am a bit worried that maybe I should be looking for 250R's or 350X's.
