I am looking to buy a front sand tire for my 350x. My choices are the mohawk or the smooth buff. Is there anything better about either one?? Any personal stories??

My friend put a Mohawk on last trip to Glamis. He loved it he swore he was getting less resistance and going faster. The Mohawk might be an advantage in the lowlands or if you ever have to run a hard road in an emergency. I have only ran smoothies on buggies.

I had a "bald" front & ran it for 2 years, totaly out of control mostly!!!
Then switched to a "mohawk" & would never look back. Nearly total control @ decent speed too! The bald ones are for flat land drags IMO, wether it be in the sand or dirt. On the strait & flat the bald will work. Now for dune'n bowls & shoot'n hills, sand only, the mohawk is the SHIZZLE & oh how I wish I had one years ago! ;)

As for all ya other PERVS... just be glad he didn't title this thread "nubs or clean shaven BALD"! :D
