Painting PLastic is pointless, my friend. Nothing is really reliable at all. Howeevr: Theres a special type fo paint that will strecth (as regular paint is not made to do). Your local hardware store guy oughta be able to tell you what it is called as Im drawing a blanK!!
Good luck,
Rob

Rather than trying to find a stretching paint(!?!?!) try to find something with a flex agent in it. Similar to rubber car bumper paint.

Do what I do. Go down to your local wal-mart, pick up a can of plasi-cote or another "higher quality" spray paint and spray it on in light coats (or you'll get a lot of drippage). But yeah it will scratch off if you ride though the woods or anything (i do) So just keep an extra can handy. Otherwise i think you'll be fine. I just painted the rear fenders on my bigred not too long ago this way :) seems to be holding up o.k. besides the scratched from my previous hunting trip.

I would use Dutch Boy semi-gloss exterior and a nice roller . If ya feel crafty try that wall magic roller for a psychadelic paint scheme .

lmao !
my hillbilly way of doing it is using flexable primer (auto parts store) + paint of choice. (nothing i gotta get the roller out for )
i have ferther re-fined my skills of touch up with fingernail paint. there are so many choices in wal-mart.

What you want to use is a PLASTIC ADHESIVE PROMOTER, A couple different brands are made and you can pick them up at house of color or any auto paint store-- Depending on what your pocket book sez you can pick up some awsome colors-- one pint should get all your plastic done and no primer is needed, just a spray gun ---------- good luck ;)

I am just waiting for someone to go and have all of the plastics RhinoLined. Any color, very durable, bendable, lifetime guarantee. Yeah, it'll add about 10 lbs to the fenders, but they will look great!
You could even get them done in a chunky mud color and texture to make it look like you have been through the bog at any time. :)
Do it, I know you want to.

Heck yeah! The lining actually improves the tensile strength of the truck bed. Therefore, your fenders will be able to withstand more wear and tear without breaking!
Do it!

That would be pretty cool to see some rhino lined fenders. They would need to have extra supports I would think. Or you could hand your fenders over to Jessie James to get a cool flame job. :-P

Well Krylon Fusion Plastic Paint works pretty good if you really prep your plastics good. But from what I found out.......if you have tight woods and think they would get bashed any at all, then no matter what they will not hold as as good as you would want. Maybe sand dunes it would work fine.
