Does anyone know the process for getting a title for a trike? I have a bill of sale and all the right vin numbers. The guy I bought it off of never titled it.
I remember getting my titles for my seadoos and man it was a big pain in the arse, B.M.V. sent me all over the countryside TWICE. Just want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row before I begin the process.

when i sold my quad to a kid in canada ihad to have the bill of sale, and they give you a paper to fill out,or they will fill it for you, then they inspect it to make sure the vin #'s match and there you go,i would suggest going to marion on a weds afternoon,or early morning.why did you sell the beast? brandon

Go to www.broadwaytitle.com . You can get a title for any vehicle 1988 or older. It costs a few $ but it's a sure way to get a title if your state is giving you a hard time about it. I did this for a 1985 XL600 and it worked like a charm.

But their website says you still need to check with your particular state's DMV to insure that there is no lien or theft recorded for that VIN.
Those title companies are a GODSEND for the classic car crowd, I can vouch for that!!!

Brandon, I did not sell it, but if I ever do or want to go to Wayne National Forest to ride I need to register it and I cant do that without a title.
