Wow sounds like you guys did really good! I'm impressed for sure. Can't wait till the pictures start showing up. I know TimSr wasn't sure his Z would make it through the weekend, did it?

LOL!! My Z didnt make it through the parade lap! Thank goodness it was a team race. Thanks to Derrick for letting me ride his Z! Figured out the problem already. Apparently I had enough water in the float bowl to freeze the float needle. I heated the carb up just a little bit, and it runs fine now.
Even with technical difficulties, 3 wheelers kicked butt today. I was proud to be a part of this group.
Next race is in February. Hope we get some more riders.

Any of you guys that kick these things around but don't come, change your mind.
If you drive 1,2,3hrs and race in the freezing cold (win or lose) I promise, it's memories you won't forget! Not like sitting at home reading about it.
Don't make excuses, just do it. Our bikes were not the best out there by far, but we finished and we finished quite well to my suprise. To be honest with you, i'm not so sure a 200X couldn't have won the whole thing today! We had way too much power for the track.

Ellusive Track?
If you do a search in this forum of Sunset Ramblers youll see all of the other threads over the past year on this place. Its hardly been a secret. We were twisting arms trying to get people to show up last year when it was a lot warmer.
Once again, the website is www.sunsetramblers.com . They havent got a schedule posted yet but the guy there told me they were planning another run in February. We need enough guys for 3 wheeler classes all the time to be eligible for series awards.
The track is located in Galion, Ohio which is west of Mansfield. mapquest or yahoo maps can show you the distance from where you live. They only do HS in the winter on an extended MX track. In the summer they run full weekends, with camping. They run Short Track on Saturday eve, and MX on Sunday. We usually go for the weekend. Great event for those who have a long drive. Same deal for classes on both those, 3 trike entries, and we get a separate trike class.
Nobody can complain that trikes arent allowed to compete if they live within a couple hours of a place that does, and they dont support it.
