ATK mx

anyone have any opinions on the new atk mx quad. i really liked those cannondales. i see it lists for around $10,000 and they seem to have fixed some of its inherent problems. i was wondering if its really race ready "out of the box" or would putting some $$ into a yfz or 450r (extd. a-arms, pipe, etc) be a cheaper or better way to go.

I dont know what would be better, but my friend had a cannondale cannonball (?) 440 and it was pretty nice...

In one of the fourwheeler magazines they tested one it was one of the bigger ones i cant remember what bu tthe suspension was very stiff and the steering sucked. But this was before ATk bought the company. So it may have been changed.

One of the local shops sells them. They havent sold any yet but i rode that one and it SMOKES a 450 or shee on a track or drag. All i can say about it is its bad A**.

they look sweet. i'd love to see the company do well. i think the price drove a lot of people away from cannondale. but if you really dont have to put any $$ into it like you might have to for the yfz or 450r for hardcore mx, its probably pretty close in cost.
