spark plug wire hardly fits on 250r with cool head?

The spark plug wire on my 1985 250r hardly fits on the plug since I put on a cool head. The plug boot hits the top of the frame. Any suggestions to fix this problem. I hope I dont have to notch the frame but might have to it barley fits.If anyone notched their frame would like to see a picture of how you did it. Thanks Glenn

I use a cheapo ngk plug boot. I use a spacer plate so I figured thats why mine won't fit.

where do you get those boots and what application do they fit sounds like I will need one. Thanks Glenn
