OK lets set aside the chevy-ford-dodge wars and lets see some trucks! Heres mine: Basically a 76 K20 Custom Deluxe. It's got the stock LS9 350 smallblock, Edelbrock filter, Edelbrock performer dual plane manifold, Rochester Quadra-jet modified with electric choke, I've put a new auxilaury solenoid in it to run electric trailer brakes and trailer light plug ins, some new hoses and electrical cables, put a new starter motor in it which is supposedly higher amprage than stock, some west coast choppers and confederate stickers (3ww stickers soon to come), It has a proper muncie 4-speed standard if you don't understand chevy speak truck wise "K" series (Mine) are 4x4 and "C" series anre 2 wheel drive. I also put spicer hubs on it. Its running a Dana44 in the front and a GM 14 bolt in the back. Since these pics were taken I put a confederate front plate on it. It has a Sony CD player in it, but the CD player ate my Nirvana cd, and that agrivated me some, now the CD player doesnt work, but its only a matter of time before I fix it. Luckily for the CD player it wasn't my Pantera CD. As you may have guessed I've got big plans for this thing, but they are on hold for my trike and until I earn some more dough. Hopefully my truck will get its growth spurt within the next year!
Hope to see some more pick em' up trucks boys (and girls)!

Heres my first truck i bought in december, its a 1992 Dodge Dakota 2WD with 318 V8 in her. it is super clean. and has only 133 kms on it. I havent got my license yet (Feb 23) so I havent got to license it yet, ive only drove around with Dealer Plates.
and nope, my mom didnt buy it for me, i paided for it in full with all the money ive been saving since grade 7 when i had my paper route. Even if she did offer to help, i wouldnt let her.

thats in good shape man! Is your birthday on the 23rd?
Yamahauler
01-24-2005, 12:25 AM
no my birthday was in october but we have graduated licensing here so you have to wait at least three months after your birthday to get your license. It pretty dumb but they think that you will get more driving practice this way, which isnt true because ill really only be using it from now to the 23rd to get practiced up for the test.

Here is my '86 Ranger I got in August. So far it has been treating me well. It hasn't taken me long to figure out that I am truck guy. It is just so handy to have, not to mention how much easier it is to put a trike in then my old Suzuki Sidekick which I did manage to put on in (yes the soft top was still on).

Here's my trucks. The first one, a 05 Colorado may be small but it's incredible how well it does. It's great on gas, has plenty of power, has more room then you'd think in it, my 400ex fits in the back, it tows another 4 machines behind it with ease, and it off-roads like a champion. The second is my beastly work truck. This baby will pull anything I hook up to it (well you know what I mean). It's an 85 f350 dually (pre-EFI) with a 460ci engine and a 4 speed manual trans. It's got a 10.25" rear end pushing 4.56 gears. It pulls a mini excavator like the new diesels (It gulps gas doing it though). I've got an all steel diamond plate flat bed for her and am slowly redoing the cab and front end. In the back is a Smeal 3T Hydraulic Derrick. It's a smaller full frame derrick but it can still lift 3 tons. I plan to get this rig looking a lot better by spring for when we get busy again. We got this truck in a pinch when our other one was totaled.

2003 Dodge 3500 SRW (1 ton), short bed 4 door with a Cummins 5.9, NV5600 6spd standard, 4.10 gearing (Just about to low in actuality when the redline is 3500rpm).
1977 Ford F250 3/4ton 4x4 (On the trailer). 69 Lincoln 460 (Early engine with 365hp, 500ftlbs tq stock) non-overdrive C6 automatic, 4.10 gearing, 33in tires, 4inch lift, True duals with side exits-no mufflers. This thing burns gas but man it will HAUL ASS. I can put it in 4x4 and stomp it and burn all 4 tires. A lot of torque since its geared so low, top speed of about 70mph :P

Scott, that is a nice truck and the trail rig is sweet, too. I am on my laptop away from home so cannot take pictures and the ones on my desktop at home are gone (my junky DELL crashed again and the overseas tech support just ain't cutting it, may I get an English speaker, please?). I will post when I get home this weekend. I have a 2000 F150 4x4 super cab, a 2003 Ford Expedition 4x4, and a just inherited beater, a 2002 Toyota Tundra Xcab 4x4. Getting rid of the Tundra, to buy some more 3 wheelers. Thought of keeping it and selling the Ford, but I know the history on the Tundra and it has had quite a few things that been problematic and it is too confining inside. Like my Ford better, overall. Wife says that I should get a new Super Duty Crew cab, so I can haul the kids around. Maybe she is right this time!! LOL Would be a first! :naughty:

Here is a old picture of my 78 F-150, Im putting a new bed on it (passanger side looks good but rest of it is rusted out and falling apart), And putting a 429 with 460 Dove heads in there, along with a new grill. Probly put some 35s on it. In this pic it only has the 4" lift, but im going to put a 2" body lift on too.

Guys ... its simple: they must be in one of these formats/file
extensions - JPEG (.jpg) Adobe (.pdf) or Paint (.png) and they must be under
200kb in file size.

I just got rid of this one to get my Powerstroke. This one has a built 429 Cobra jet with Dove C heads with a built Transmission with a Dana 60 in the front and a Sterling 10 1/4 in the rear. Both have a locker and 410 gears. This thing would move like a sports car.

Well since I have some pictures on my computer I will post them. This is not my truck but one of my friends bought it this winter, a 1982 GMC High Serria 4x4 1 ton with the 454 :naughty:, 4 speed and 4.10's . The body will come off this summer and a rust free body will replace it. With any luck we can get most of the frame and engine parts cleaned/repainted this summer then next summer will be the body work. It won't be a show truck but a nice looking play truck.
