What do you do for night time riding?

I won't be able to bear not riding in the night so I need some sort of light that either will bolt to my handlebars or strap to my helmet.

I'd really like a helmet light that straps on and has a seperate battery that I could put in a backpack. Anyone have a good product suggestion, a great compact, lightweight, and more importantly really bright light they can recommend?

go to walmart. in the fishing department they have these badazz headband lights that use LCDs. they are bright as heck and last a while on 2 triple A batteries. they range from 15.99 to 29.99. i used one when i didnt have a light.

Dammit!

I rigged up some driving lights for a car to my 200x when I was running a number plate. Wish I had pics of it. Took a piece of metal and made a mount that bolted on using the handlebar bolts. It would only run one at a time though. Looked pretty cool. Biggest downfall was how fragile they were. First roll over and they were both toast.

That helmet lighting system is damn expensive. I really want a helmet light system.

I think I could make a nice handlebar light system that mounts to the tripples or handlebar clamp.

On a tecate ,if you have a radiator guard you can use the original headlight mount for the light/s. :TrikesOwn

Get an aftermarket Billet Halogen lights. They are small but put out great light. You see them in the ATV magazines. While your at it get a LED Rear Brake Light. Thats one more thing I need instead of the original one I have now. :w00t:

I'm not running a brake light, dont plan to either. Some of those billet lights are damn expensive too and I'd rather have a helmet light.

I have the original rad guard but have no intentions of mounting it either.
