I got rid of the .30 cal ammo can contraption of a grab-bar and installed the new in the box 6-pack rack I won on eBay. I also cleaned up the "tank" cover and transfered some decals I got from DK.

Its a 5-speed with reverse, 1st is a granny gear. In comparison to my ATC125M, the ALT seems to have a bit more power (compared to the ATC in hi range), but it handles ALOT differently - very light in the front end and it tends to push in the corners - probably due to the fact that all of the weight, including the gas tank, is under the seat. The transmission differences between the ALT and the ATC125M are going to be "interesting" in the drags at Trikefest. I would say the ALT's power delivery falls somewhere between the ATC125M's low-range and hi-range, leaving anybody racing an ATC125m against an ALT scratching their heads as to which range to use: low-range might get the holeshot, but it would certainly loose it on the top end - hi-range is too long legged and might not catch up before 300'.

Stumbled across a review of a ALT125 in an old Dirt Wheels today too! It was a test from like 84... it was orange though. I could try to scan it for you next week!

It looks to be in great shape. Just put a cinder block on that front rack to counter all that weight :naughty:

I still have mine. Im sure Ill be lining it up against Wicked's this year for some even competition. Im tired of getting smoked by the little kids on mini quads!

Ive got an orange one and love it. Ive got all the parts for a complete restore, but its just too much fun to beat to a pulp to justify making it look nice. Reverse is the best part. :D

Mine is an all original very nice gem, and the main reason Ive had it for sale was because I didnt want to beat it up. Ive had very little use for reverse as the thing will almost turn circles around without moving forward. I only used it when moving the trailer around.
