84-85 Kawasaki Tecate Hop Ups needed

Ok I got an 84-85 Tecate and I want to know what all the good hop ups are for it. I heard about kx clutch parts and Raptor shocks. I want to know all good hop ups for my Tecate so I can hook it up. What are the hop ups you all are using? Hook a brother up :w00t:

You can use a 83/84 KX250 cylinder and piston to get alot more power. The V-force reed cage is a nice piece. A 38mm flatslide carb goes nicely with these parts. Use a UNI air filter. The 83/84 stator, flywheel, CDI, and coil bolt on and let the bike rev alot quicker than stock. A DG silencer and pipe are the best and sometimes the only option for exhaust mods. If you can, get some port work done or blueprint the cylinder yourself by smoothing all the sharp or rough castings inside the intake and exhaust ports. Thats about it aside from a bigbore.

You could also use the wiring from a KX 250. It has no rev limitier.

Neither the wiring from the tecate or kx250 has any kind of a rev limiter built in.

Depending on what fuel you want to run you can do some head work to bump the compression. I have all the mods that biggreen listed and I can tell you these things rip!

im going with a 300 bigbore, ported and polished, and cool head. will also be doing a 6 mill stroker and a FTZ drag pipe. PVL ignition system, and a Lectrone 40 carb. i will be running alcohol with a 10+ swinger. should be pretty sweet when im done plan on chroming everything!
