I contacted a Company that makes trick Extended Swingarms for Quads. I convinced them that us Serious Three Wheeler Owners with High Performance Trikes are in need of Extended Swingarms and told him I would send Him a Tecate swinger for an 84-85. He saw a pic of mine on my Tecate while being built plus a diagram from www.buykawasaki.com. He said that he was interested because of previous inquiries about swingers for Tecates, Tri Z's and 250R's. He wants me to send in a swingarm for an 84-85 Tecate as they are the same, so he can copy it and make the Product we all need so bad. If anyone is willing to fess up a Good 84-85 Tecate Swingarm or Tri Z and 250 R swinger I will greatly appreciate it. I am willing to BUY a Tecate Swinger as thats what I need, but I want to help everyone out. This Company sounds serious and could be the breakthrough we have all been waiting for. WHOS GOT THAT TECATE SWINGARM FOR THE EXTENSION PROJECT? :w00t:
Please understand this is a longshot so for now lets stick to The 250 two strokes :beer

Um Im not sure what he will make them with. This is what he uses for his Quad Swingarms
Constructed of 11.Ga.1"X 2" tubing & laser cut 1/4" steel plate.
As for anything else I just need an 8-4-85 Tecate swingarm to send him. He isnt making any yet because he needs to see a swinger for himself and copy it. If you want a Cal-Fab repro swinger send me one for an 84-85 Tecate I wil put it on my Trike for a Year to make sure its good then I will send it to him to copy. As no one I know has an 84-85 Cal-Fab or other Aftermarket Extended swinger to sell me, it seems if he decides to do this it will be after a stock swinger. Of course I am up for buying any extended swingarm for my Tecate so If you got one sell it to me. :w00t:
I just recycled the one I had laying around. Someone welded a bracket on it to give it more heighth in the ass. :wondering Damn fool I am. Wasnt thinking.
Now WHO IS WILLING TO HOOK ME UP WITH A SWINGARM TO SEND THIS GUY? :naughty:
I have a 84/85 swinger sitting on the shelf. Its all yours, come get it LOL.
Get a hold of me if you want it.

im in the process of having one made as we speak! it will be made from chromoly tubing. they run $300 for anything up to 8" and $350 for anything over 8" i already have one intrest. here are pics of what it wil look like accept it will attach to the stock carrier. Mine is being made for a drag project so i will be getting rid of the linkage all togather but im shure he can make it to work with the linkage as well. He usually builds them for shee's but hes a good friend of mine and said he would hook me up also not a bad price in my opinion. chrome is a extra $100 this is very stong his she run a 7.92 in the 1/8th at 80mph and coasting the last 100ft. Its a bad ass bike to say the least!

I believe the guy is on this site. They are the guys that sell the Blaster and Banshee extended swinger on E-Bay. I believe they are called the swingarm shop. I havnt put the Cal-Fab on yet. The Tecate is put away till next spring. By then I will have the swinger Polished, Installed, and it needs a new clutch and a rubber mount for the headlight. I believe its a Honda headlight. I cant seem to find it. By next spring the Tecate Project will look better than she does now with some chrome Engine parts to go with the Powder Coated Engine Parts. As for +2" I think it should be fine. I dont like the look of Trikes with big extended swingers. They just dont look right when the tires are beyond the Fenders. 2" should help keep the front end down a bit more. :w00t:
