Honda seat & tank seperation any solutions?

Hi. Everyone again, still working on the 200x. I'm have trouble getting the seat to meet the tank correctly and as far as I've seen from pictures in the readers rides this is a fairly common problem. Does anyone have the solution to make the seat and tank match up correctly again? I assume this problem happens just over time as the seat has had a lot of ride time and the plastic just kinda gives a little. Anyone with a good solution, make a post please. I;m kinda playing with bending the seat pan while heating it with a heat gun......I'll see what kinda of results I can get.....

I fixed the pan on my 200x using propane heat. A good heat gun will work too. Just be very careful with it. Once the plastic gets soft it droops fast! A little goes a long way. I would heat it up just enough to be hot to the touch and bend it to shape and hold till it was cool, and go on with the next heat application.
