well, i just yanked the engine out of my 200x as it isnt firing due to either the stator or the coils.
i'm gonna have my mechanic look it over.
unless the top end is in mint condition im gonna do a top end rebuild while im at it, but considering when i got it was missing the peice from the carb to the airbox and oil was caked at the exhaust i doubt its in mint!
My question is is there a way for my mechanic to inspect the bottom end
things like the clutch and the transmission. as i want to fix this thing once and for all.
how is the best way to go about making sure the bottom end is good to go
and if not about how much would it cost for possible things i may need to replace like clutch and transmission?
it goes through all the gears right now. im just leary cause it looks like the person who had it before me has maybe done some work on it and IMHO was not qualified even to sit on it and make vroom noises
