Title ?

hey i bought a new frame for me 2000 scrambler and i was wondering it has a junk title from IL. I live in CT i was wondering if anyone knos if you can get a regular title and get it in my name. has anyone ever done this..

I wouldn't wast my time going through that just for a atv.In my past experiences once that vin is marked junk/salvage there is nothing you could do,but some states are different than others.A 2000 polaris scrambler will hold the same value with or without a "junk" title.If it was a car,truck,streetbike the value sure is hurt.Here in NY you can register a salvage title and sell to a person.When you go to trade it in at a dealer,thats when it will hurt you. I wouldn't worry about it.You could get it in your name with a good reciept but it will still remain junk/salvage

my 85 250r has NEVER been titled ever in its entire life.....i went to the dmv, and it is a crazy S.O.B. to get a title for it......i live in NY and the dmv SUCKS!

uhhh, you can ride it legallyoff your property(in specific places) once its been insured and registered.....duh.

well i dont know about you but i can register my trike and legally ride anywhere without the title...
