There was a thread a while ago on this but I cant find it so here it goes again, What is the best way to trim plastics? I was thinking of using a saws all or something to cut where the mud flap extensions used to be. Any iders? I'm goin to a poker run this weekend so I want it to look nice.

And yes that black paint is commin off before then too.

best way Ive found, is a dremel tool, or the little cut off die grinders. A dremel tool with the round, 40-80 grit is perfect. Just wear jeans and a long sleave... cause that melted plastic flinging off will leave marks on naked flesh.

i just use a utility knife and/or aircraft shears and then sand the endges down with some fine grit sandpaper....at least thats what i do...

of course i mark the lines with a marker or pencil first....

ok ill try it with a dremel first since that seems easiest then if that proves too frustrating ill use a knife. Thanks guys.

you should also put tape on it so you can cut along the tape to get it somewhat even.

I'm debating whether or not to leave this little notch on each side for effect. What do yall think?
