I got others but the background color white is off. 86 Tri z's are not neon white...they are a creme white. Jerod will fix this.

At least you can get new stickers but you have the right to be pissed. Related/not related I had a set of rims /tires come in today with a pair of original 86 ATC 250R handle bars no bends on top of them. I was going to have them powder coated next week with some other black stuff. Well it looks like they punctured the box and someone pulled them out along the way. They didnt fall out of that hole you can see they were pulled out. Back to ebay I still haven't recovered yet

Yes the 86 decals are too white. I told Jared that they need to be off white....but he can't make them that color unless he starts out with off white background vinyl.

Oh well. Stick with cut outs for the rear fenders...and go with Jared for the warning decalsl, etc.

i dont think the black ones will be a problem, we are lucky z owners to have someone take the effort to make stickers look and match oem ones "as best as possible", its hard to please everyone, but i can understand if you had a mint bike, or a full $5,000 restore

there is no question, they are top of the line, and the only complete setup there is available. Its just hard for him to match up colors, and almost every machine will be different because of they are 20 year old machines now.

I agree- He really does the best he can and keeps trying and trying until he gets it as close as possible. He must have a wastebasket full of stuff when he does a project. The machine has some limitations but its one of the best out there. Plus he's willing to do specialized things you scan him or mail him. See his new tecate shroud stickers listed those are mine he did that for me. I'm probably going to send him my tecate shock resevoir sticker I peeled off . I wish full kits were available for other bikes so the TRI Z crowd is very lucky.

I noticed in his kit he is missing 2 stickers enless im not seeing them :wondering I don't see the sticker for the plastic that goes over the airbox, their is suppose to be a sticker that shows how to use the choke and the sticker that goes on the steering stem.

So is this sticker in the kit or what??

Darius1502

That sticker was in my kit. I don't know if its in the 85 kit. Personally, I don't know where that sticker goes on the 85. Ask Jerod and he'll add it.

The kits are great...the only problems is the background on the large 'Tri Z' sticker that goes on the rear fenders. The little 'Z250' decal is too small to show enough background.

What I found and Chainsaw found was that the white was too white and the yellow was off. Still use the rest of his stuff and buy the others on ebay or have a sign shop do it. His are the best for everything else...that was my point!

That sticker goes on the top of the airbox cover plastic.

Ok...on the 86 it goes on the headlight.
