I got everything I was expecting except a set of radiators that I actually have not requested him to send yet (been debating on having him do something to them first). It took longer than expected but he did do what he said he would.

I haven't seen him online (AIM) in a couple of days. Maybe he got that 400 running and busted his melon? :wondering

A simple tracking number tells all. Anything can go coast to coast in 5 days unless there is a problem. The tracking number tells you whether its the shipper, or the person who claims to have shipped it.

Personally, I love when people posts links to their ebay auctions, beacuse a quick look at their feedback on ebay is really helpful in decidig whethere I want to deal with somebody.

you guys are aware that he is a stoner, right?? Well, "they" usually take thier time with things! NO OFFENCE, Quick, just stating the facts as I see them. I believe he is an honest decent guy, just not highly motivated (kinda like my little brother used to be, not the triker brother!)

Go into his Ebay auctions and look at all of his recent negative feedbacks. I know I wouldn't buy anything off of him. Never have/ never will.

now, I know that buying and selling is a big topic on here, BUT, lets face it. MOST of us have real jobs and family and time constraints. ALOT of us are too young to even drive! let alone have any real money to ship stuff out, no credit card, etc...... Personally, I view buying and selling on this site as INFORMAL, casual transactions, and pretty much dont expect the world from anyone. I do want parts I pay for, but guys, remember this is a side hobby noone here is a "real store". All I am saying is...well, I think I made a point. Agree or disagree, it is what it is...

hell ill be the FIRST to admit i dont get parts out as soon as i should, but they DO go out, so i do understand peoples frustrations.. as for the ebay deal.. there is always more than meets the eye when it comes to feedback.. everyone that has deals with me in the past knows they get what they paid for and 99% of the time they get a ton more.. only real bad dealing i have had was with lots of nothing, i told him i wanted some stuff and never sent him the cash.. so i dont have a issue with admitting im wrong..

im not too proud to admit im lazy

I haven't been contacted directly yet. But if I do then I will have to follow the rules as they have been writen and posted:
http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=16851

Rule #7 ( Sellers Rule ): Sellers: Complete your dealings in a timely manner. 2 weeks from time payment has arrived is more than enough time to ship it out. Failer to ship or offer a FULL refund a timely manner can result in a PERMANENT BANNED from all the forums, or until we decide to allow you back. We very stickly advise to use confirmed delivery on USPS packages, or get a tracking number via any other carrier. This will help you prove you shipped a item in a timely manner if any problem arises.

I use USPS 99% of the time, read my feedback on ebay. More then half of the comments are "WOW SUPER FAST SHIPPING". You see the difference here is, I send my packages same or next day 100% of the time (never on hollidays or sundays though).

wow some people on here need to simmer down..seriously.

I didn't buy something, but from reading this whole thing, i get that he said it'd be a bit before some things were shipped. now what would the point be of making the effort to goto the post office to ship just a few poeoples stuff(like the people who HAVE gotten their things). Take into consideration, also, weather conditions some states ahve that could prevent things from just hoppin right on over.

Putting things in about what people do in their spare time is very immature and rude!! What he does is his own choice, and should never be thrown in their face like that....

And, the new rules about classifieds, how much more strict does it get, I hope that if i ever have to ship something to anybody on here that the post office doesn't take their sweet time because I"LL BE PROVIDING A FULL REFUND if its not timely... wow.

Yes, the rules are tough. But the rules were needed. Why? Because we had a couple users that didn't ship things for 2, 3, or more months after they said they got payment. When we are ask to get involved we do try to help get things worked out.

A delivery confirmation number or tracking number that shows it was shipped is proof, thus there wouldn't be a need to refund. ;)

The rules are tough? Get real! They are very lax!

Simple etiquette for internet sales:
1. Any item should be shipped within 3 days of being paid for, unless an alternate time period is specificallly spelled out. "It may take a while" is not specific!
2. If you are a buyer, you should notify a seller of your intent to purchase within 48 hours of him making an offer. Its unreasonable to expect someone to hold something because you "might want to buy it".
3. When you commit to buying something payment should be mailed within 48 hours, or Paypaled within 3 days. Sellers deal with deadbeat talkers all the time. If you dont have the money, dont expect them to hold it. They have no way of knowing if you are a serious buyer, or a talker.
4. For the love of Pete, use a shipping service that provides tracking! If you ship it tomorrow, and it takes a month to get there, nobody is going to be on your case if you can prove you shipped it when you said you did. "I dont want to pay for tracking" = "I dont want to pay, but Im still holding you responsible for knowing where it is at all times". "I dont want to pay for insurance"= "I dont want to pay, but Im still holding you responsible if it does not get here or is damaged". Coast to coast shipping should not normally take more than 5-6 days with any real shipper. (USPS Parcel Service can take up to two weeks coast to coast.) In about 2500 packages Ive shipped, the longest a dlivery has ever taken was 10 days to California, and it was lost for a short time, but I always knew exactly in which depot it was lost, and could prove it. If its not there, you need to prove you shipped it. "it was already shipped", "I put down the wrong zip code", "it was returned" are the most common lies told by lazy shippers. You can expect people to assume you are lying too, unless you can prove it with a tracking number.

Lots of Nothing, Im happy you havent had a problem yet, but just what are you going to do the first time a guy tells you, "it never came"? What are you going to do if it actually hasnt come? What do you do, when you tell the guy"it was shipped" and he doesnt believe you? You dont get "fast shipping" comments because of the shipping service you use. You get them because you ship the stuff out right away when its been paid for. Be aware that their tracking service, if you use it is a joke, but it will prove when something was shipped, and when it was delivered. It just doesnt show anything in between. Your 100% feedback is very good, but youve only got 40 some transactions. USPS does deliver things timely MOST of the time, but its nowhere near the 100% you are hoping to maintain. 95% is more accurrate for the post office making timely delivery, but not a very good feedback rating on ebay.

Most of this should be common sense, and common courtesy. Do YOU want a guy to hold YOUR parts for 3 weeks before shipping them, when you paid right away? Are you going to beleive him wehn he says he "shipped it out two weeks ago"? And buyers, when a guy gives you a link to his ebay auctions, and it shows a pattern of dissatisfaction, think before you pay. People complain about this JerryLance goofball on ebay and 97% rating, but then they send money to board members with worse ratings! Ive seen board members Id never deal with based on their ebay feedback ratings!

I do this for a living, and I deal very little on this board, for all these reasons. I sell on Ebay so that the simple rules of etiquette can actually be enforced, and its not considered obligatory to tolerate inconsiderate and unethical business pratcices just because somebody else also claims to a 3 wheeler enthusiast.

Tim- it doesn't matter what i say you're the moderator so everything you say is right! yeah i think the rules on this board in general are pointless. Too strict, nothin fun allowed on this board if the moderators don't like it, and if they do like it its allowed. Around this board, its not who you are as much as who you know!! Just what I've noticed.

People can use whatever company they want to ship, and if people weren't so cheap in how they wanted things shipped and always getting the best deal, maybe we could afford to pay for tracking #'s, but i tell you if I quoted someone a price and it ended up being more with a tracking # and they hadn't paid that extra...I woudln't pay it because not everybody has extra money to just toss around and do favors with. I've done things out of the goodness of my heart of this site, and gotten completely burned by it, so paying extra for things that were not really payed for by the shipper(i.e. a tracking # through U.S.P.S, delivery confirmation, etc.) is outta the question for me.

I just can't believe some people could get so mad about someone that said it will be a bit before their stuff gets out for WHATEVER reason and everyone didn't seem to have a problem with it...and then people turn around and start crap like this. If you're in that big of a hurry, DON"T buy from people off here! Everyone has other things going on in life besides making sure joe shmoe from 3ww is perfectly happy.

You know, im about getting sick of people whining and complaining about the way this board is moderated, and about moderators somehow having special privileges. You have never had your posts removed for your opinions, so unless you can come up with some specific instances where I have unfairly removed your posts, that I can address, stop accusing me of it! Yes, we do not allow profanity, and that part isnt up for debate. Im not going to try and justify having a little class on this board, like youd expect from any other respected professional media. You dont get it. If you want to spew out profanity and posts pictures of your body parts, go do it somewhere else. I think we are pretty tolerant in that you have not been banned, even though all you seem to ever have to contribute to this board is your compliants about your lack of freedom to be vulgar, what a bunch of idiots you feel the moderators are, and how the site rules are too restrictive. If you really feel this way, why do you keep coming back and complaining about it? And if we are so intolerant, why do we let you, even though thats all you seem to have to post? Maybe if you would try to use the site for what it is intented, instead of trying to twist it into just another adult website you could find some degree of enjoyment with it. There are plenty of other sites out there that have what you are looking for in a website. And if you expect to wait a month for YOUR parts, nobody here has any problem with that. Just dont expect it from the rest of us. And if you are going to wait a month to ship your parts, DONT SELL THEM ON HERE!

i have never been vulgar, or posted pictures of my body parts.i would never even consider it! In fact, maybe you overlooked it, but i was even TRYING to get an out of control thread BACK on topic the other day. I have more respect for myself than that! an adult site? PLEASE, i think you're getting a little over board on that. Might as well just have said you think i'm a hooker! i have never started anything of my own, i've contributed to things that were already being posted. Have a little class? try getting rid of that super junky section on the main page. NOR am i ever profane. I have never received a PM saying that what i said was VULGAR, or, saying they removed a picture because it was innapropriate. I have never HAD a picture removed from here, just posts with the truth in them.I would have plenty to say on this board, like i do on other 3 wheeler sites, if people acted normal. And its not just YOU so don't take this so flippin personal!! I think you're overlooking that I do post on topics that A- aren't repeats of topics that have been discussed 50 other times...and B, that i dont think i'll get ridiculed for. Way to make me look like someone that I'm not, which is someone that has no respect for themselves by posting pictures of their body parts(which i have NEVER DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and to be vulgar, (WHEN THEIR ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE VERY VULGAR ON HERE) why do i keep coming back? because maybe i hope things will change and people on this board will be more respectful in how they treat people. Just like you portraying me as somebody i'm not.

heh.. well if this post went nuts.. bottom line is i shipped the parts and im trying to get this damn scanner to work so i can post up the recipts of the parts being shipped so everyone will get off my ass... I CANNOT HELP that I SCREWED UP and shipped the parts without a tracking number, but did ship them with delivery confirmation.. i cannot help that it hasnt been delivered, once it left my hands its outta my control... bottom line is some people are sayin i ripped them off, which you can believe that if that makes you sleep better at night.. I HAVE NEVER RIPPED ANYONE OFF AND NEVER WILL!

Like most have said i dont do this full time, i dont sit here playing on ebay waiting for people to bid on auctions.. i sell stuff that i was going to end up tossing out because i dont want/need them.. to HELP people out and 99% of the time go into the hole JUST ON THE SHIPPING but i dont see a single person offering to cover the extra shipping and i NEVER ASK for the difference, because i would rather see somone get a good, used, part for cheap than having to spend a arm and a leg for a part.. i dont mind helping people out.. but dammit why in the hell should i have to go and totally bust my ass to get this trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro together, ship it out the next day EXPECIALLY WHEN IM PULLING MONEY OUT OF MY OWN POCKET.. im NOT going to do it! period! on my ebay "look here before bidding" message it says IT MAYBE UP TO 2 WEEKS BEFORE I SHIP THIS PART.. i told everyone IT MAYBE A WHILE BEFORE I SHIP THIS STUFF, 2 3 4 WEEKS! no one had a issue..

so the bottom line is, the parts were shipped so up jump the boogie and chill the f*** out.. everytime i send somthing, i ALWAYS add somthing in the box... you paid for tires and a seat and you got tires a seat and a swingarm, and a set of handle bars? i wouldnt see anyone whining then.. THATS HOW I AM.. ASK ANYONE THAT HAS DELT WITH ME! ASK DAMMIT WHAT ELSE HE GOT WITH HIS STUFF I SENT! i bend over backwards to help people, and in turn im not gonna totally cut myself outta the loop by doing that AND RUSHING to the damn post office

why do i keep coming back? because maybe i hope things will change and people on this board will be more respectful in how they treat people. Just like you portraying me as somebody i'm not.

This site constantly changes, and changes are brought about by thoughtful discussion, not by bashing moderators. I never accused you of doing any of the things you and I mentioned. I did accuse you of defending those practices by others, which you do on a regular basis. Every time trash gets removed, you immediately bash the "idiot moderators". Maybe you didnt even know what you were defending. That comes about by assuming that all removed posts are a result of overzealous moderators who deserve to be instantly bashed for it. Maybe the lesson is to refrain from bashing moderators when you have no idea what discussions are taking place behind the scenes, and what is being removed. If you really have an interest in what is going on in a thread, a simple PM goes a lot farther than a snide bash in a public post. If you had made your complaint about moderators by PM instead of in this thread, I wouldnt feel inclined to answer you in public. This thread is about business dealings, on which we can disagree how they should be handled. Learn to give your opinions without taking snide shots at my ability to be a moderator, so that we can discuss how business should be handled, and not whether or not I am fit to moderate. That should be a separate thread if you really want to have that discusssion. If you dont like the way I moderate, or you feel Im abusing my authority, then PM one of the other admins. If you want to take another cheap shot in a public forum, expect an answer in a public forum. You had your own problems with a deal a while back. We felt you got ripped. As we were discussing what, if anything, we could do about it behind the scenes, a moderator simply stated "why should we do anything for her? All she does is complain about the moderators". I didnt give you your reputation. You did. Maybe if once in a blue moon you could find some appreciation for all the time and effort modertors put into trying to do the right thing, and trying to be fair, in spite of their occasional human mistakes, and tried to work with them on a constructive basis to improve things, they might have a little more respect for your input. Your sarcastic approach is is not taken as a desire for improving things. It is taken as an insult.

azhondagrl
02-24-2005, 02:48 PM
well what i find insulting is you saying the things you said about me. I do not appreciate you saying things like me showing pictures of my body that were never posted, that to me is very unprofessional. THat amongst other things has given me such a negative approach to this site in general. I didn't feel anyone would have helped in my situation because as i was told, the deal wasn't made on this site so it didn't really matter.

I do appreciate the things that go on on this site . I HATE arguing with people, whether you want to believe it or not. I complain about some of the moderations of this board because sometimes it feels like everything I post, about mods or not gets deleted.
If you disagree, thats fine. I would rather respect people that can show me respect, and right now i don't see myself showing anyone on this board respect.
