You can use a heli-coil kit to repair the hole. It is a stainless steel threaded inset. Available at any auto parts store. You drill the hole out a bit, tapi it with a special tap, then install the thread coil into the hole. Set the motor to TDC on the compresion stroke, so the piston is up and the valves are closed. Lay the bike on its side when you drill , then suck out the remaining shrapnel with a shop vac. There you have it. Will never srtip out again.

hey, get a tap, threading tool that matches the sparkplug. put grease on the end of the tap that goes in the hole, and clean up the threads. before you put the sparkplug back in, spin the engine over a few times, to blow out any loose chips. or find someone that is more qualified to do this.

....just a note one the heli coil, when my friends striped out on his 200s, we didnt have to drill it out more becuse the hole was alredy smooth cuse the old plug striped it out, the special tap they give you will hang onto the shavings so they dont fall in the cylender as long as you dont mess it up and smack them...

It doesn't hurt to run a tad of threadlock on the plug so that doesn't hapen.

If you don't know how to get it off, please don't mess with it. 2 strokes are a piece of cake but 4 strokes are much easier to ruin things. If you don't time it correctly you'll lose a valve or worse.

Don't use any type of locking compound on a spark plug .... EVER
