She is pretty quck, but I have not doen much with it. I am building a stroker for it. The engine that is on it if fast, but it is not worthy of such a sunspension.

One word, Bada**, in order to get a background blur picture have her aim the camera at you and when you take off have the camera follow the bike and take the pic while she is following the bike. It will make the background blurry and you will have an awesome action shot, just my .02

We will have to practice that. Thanks for the advice. :)

That is where I bought it. It was about an hour away form me. when I got there the guy had enough parts to biuld three more complete Tri Z's. That is how I got my black and red 85 and my second 86. bought it all for $700. Not including the stretched out 86 you see hear.

Very nice Z louis. I had started to try and make one of those tanks one time out of some sheet aluminum but quit cause it didn't look worth a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro and I was having a very hard time getting the weld to stick on it. Let me have your mods list and I'll add it to the readers rigs.

The tank was made in the 86 for flat track racing. I did some resarch after Ronnie told me the history of the trike. I can not remeber who made it but they were pretty common back then.

I have been getting a lot of questions about my 86 straight liner and the fuel tank that is on it. So I figured I would just post this information and hopefully it will help. The trike use to belong to Ronnie. He built the swing arm. It measures 13 inches over stock. The trike originally belonged to Klemm research. A picture is posted on 3WW. The tank on it was either built by them or another after market company. Do not get excited over that tank. It looks cool, but it is only good for racing. It holds very little fuel and has no reserve. But it is perfect for a drag racer. Ronnie kept the original engine and installed the 85 five speed that is on it now. It is still very quick and is not stack, but it just does not do that trike justice. I bought a stroker kit for it and with some of my tricks I will have that eating straight line quads for lunch. I have attached the photo I referred to above. I hope this has answered all your questions.

No, I took no offense. I was heart broke when I found out the engine was not right after I bought the Z. I asked Ronnine if he still had it, but I do not remember what he said. At least I know it will have a good home. I think it would be better for me to go on with my stroker engine any way. :D
