Just as a reply to the "this site sucks"

so did 3wheelerworld.com when it started.

Obviously you guys must like it now, but YOU made it that way, because without you, the user, there would be minimal content.

Don't just write it off saying "it sucks" just yet, it's been up a whole 3 days. try posting something, or submitting some pics.

This is hosted on a DS-1 from my Kitchen wall on Sun UltraSPARC servers (along with other sites) and is just a hobby.

The intent of chikkinracing.com is to get users together to talk about fixes/mods etc for trikes. also TONS of pictures, you submit em to me and I'll post em...


And, since I own/owned some Kawasakis (klt 200 now, had a 250) obviously the site is for all trikes, but focusing more on the Hondas only due to their popularity

as far as the racial stuff goes, there is nothing racist on my site.

I am not responsible for content on off-site links.

If you want this site to be anywhere CLOSE to gaining visitors you have to make it look as if you atleast tried to make it look good. Make it look professional, use templates and a good web editor. It looks like you threw it together in about 5 mins. and as for the racial stuff, lose it now if you haven't already removed it from your site, or you won't get any hits. Try http://www.coolpage.com/cpg.html and download that. Oh yeah, when you write paragraphs and stuff, use capital letters, correct punctuation, and all the other stuff we wasted our time learning about in english class.

Actually, With my SUN UltraSPARC (apache) servers with front page extensions, it took me less than 4 minutes to slap it together.

As for the racial stuff, once again. it wasnt on my page, just a link to a garage of someone that had a live webcam. To my knowledge all racist remarks have been omitted from HIS site.

As far as the content and the like, the homepage for 3wheelerworld.com looks pretty much like someone slapped it together with a GEOCITIES java web builder applet.

But, it gets the point across

LMAO, HondaATC and myself built the template for 3WW with a lot of sweat and thought. The only HTML that was not wrote line by line by us was the java for the time and date.

HondaATC spent mega amounts of time writing it up only to have problems with some browsers ( mainly Netcrapper ). He all but gave up, I took a crash course in HTML and located the problem coding It took us a lot more time to just build the template then you probably have in your whole site ( I'm not slamming it ). We use HTML,SSI, Java, and some other stuff. GeoCities don't have SSI as a option to my knowledge. I don't think they have Interactive page building ability either. But I could be wrong. I don't search for other stuff like that because I have a very good HTML program I use now. I use HotDogProfessional6 to do the html part of the site. I use PSP7 for the pictures.

FYI, In the 2-3 years that this layout has been in use your the only one that ever stated it looked like a GEOCITIES java web builder applet built site.

Now the old layout was a mess. I will have to see if I still have a copy of it. If so I will take a screen shot of it. This layout is night and day difference. This one you have all the main links on each page and when you need to add a link it is very easy to add it. I can add a link, change the Banner, change the updates, ect to every page ( well over 230 pages ) in under 2 minutes. I only have to change one file per area and it's done.

I hear ya Howdy and HondaATC. It does take a tremendous amount of time to build a site from scratch HTML. I know alot of it but I spent all my time learning Visual Basic for programming, thats why I try to use web builders if I can. Keep up the good work on 3wheelerworld!

Just FYI, there is little doubt in my mind that the trailer (pictured above) and the contents, (buncha Sun UltraSparc servers, mail servers, FTP etc) is probably worth more than most peoples houses. Has a Fast Connetion for servers (DS-1) and it's nice and RF proof, secure and climate controlled, also has a security system, video and 2 rottweilers patrolling it.



It's also a great IN-LAW apartment!
