I have a question for my 1986 250 Big Red. Theres a little black box that is attached to the coil to give it spark ( Im guessing thats what it does) If thats the case then I am thinking that little box is no good...I thought it might be like a CDI box. If anyone can help that would be awesome. I need to know what it is and if anyone has got one or knows where i could find one please let me know.

Yes it is the CDI. You can buy one new from Honda or try ebay for a good used one.

Most "little black boxes" (CDI) are dicontinued from honda. I know for a fact that the 200X is. Ebay is your best bet. Would't be a bad idea to get 1 or 2 spares either. If it is the block box that is attached directly to the spark plug wire that is your coil which is also discontinued.
Before you panic, there is a couple was that you can have no spark. 1st thing I would do is check all connections, make sure they are clean and free of rust. Make sure they are connected were they are supposed to be. Could be something as simple as a bad spark plug also.

Actually it's called the Ignition Control Module and www.bikebandit.com has them for 119.00 under "wire harness" I think.
