I just used some High Heat 1800 rattle can paint. Its not sticking that well now, but that probably from washing it to much.. lol Here are a couple of pics, and one before shot for old times sakes.

i love the yz top end look too, but for your all stock 86, and for the condition of your mint tri-z, i would keep it black, but if i had a stock beater, or a drag bike i would polish it til it looked like chrome, just my 2 cents :p

polished is just to hard to keep clean, unless its a show bike, or drag only bike.

how did you paint your frame? Just spraypaint and primer or what? Is that powdercoated? Looks nice...

The frame, the swinger, the pegs, tank guard, kick lever, are all powdercoated.

who had the tri-z/yz 490 hybrid drag trike??? i miss that thing it was the sweetest looking 2 stroke motor i have ever seen....
