Im thinking of buying a Tri Zinger 60 that looks good is all there but doesnt run. It has New Tires all around, Good Plastic and the Motor Turns over. Its rather Clean looking.

I was wondering what the History is on these and if they were good little Trikes?
Allso, how hard is to find Parts for the Tri Zinger Shaft Model. I guess they made them for only a Few Years. Any info would be appreciated. Thx :w00t:

They are good little bikes. I say pick it up. I am parting one out right now. I have lots of new and used parts. A whole bike basicly. Let me know if you need anything.

The zinger is a cool little trike. They share lot of parts with the zinger 60 quad. Although there are not a ton of parts out their you should be able to find what you need without much of a problem. If it is a good price go for it. :TrikesOwn

How can you not like it really - the first mini with any kind of suspension, a kick arse little pinger, shaft drive.

They share lot of parts with the zinger 60 quad.

The Quad-Zingers were actually TriZinger factory conversions in order to liquidate what was already in the pipeline.

from what I have heard about them they are fairly tough. Just about like teh atc 70. I was at an auction on saturday and there was a 4 zinger there that looked to be all original except for the pipe. It was blue and in darn good shape. If it wasn't so cold I would have stuck around and possibly bought it, but I was cold so I went home! Probably gonna kick myself in the arse when I get the price report from the auction. It had a DG pipe on it and it sounded good! Kinda like a bunch of p'd of bumble bees!! Should have got it it looked real tight.

For the zinger, you can still get boysen reeds and a DG pipe. They make a big difference in how they run. The rear fenders still seem to be available, I got a blue one about 3 months ago. The front fender and the handlebar covers are history. If you find any extra front fenders or handlebar covers, nos, let me know. The zingers are a blast to drive and a great starter for the kids, no shifting at all, only one speed. You can still get the safety tether straps also, The strap is a kill switch for the zinger so a kid won't get hurt learning to ride it, if the kid gets too close to hitting something, pull the tether and it kills the engine. Pretty neat.

I had a Tri-Zinger when i was 5 years old (around 1987) For a little tyke like me, i sure had fun on it. IT's tough for sure because i had a few spills on it but nothing serious. They are a zippy little machine with a kid on them; i dont really know about an adult rider though.

I just bought a blue Tri Zinger a few months ago (another project !) I fell in love with it. Looks like a Mini-Z. I keep it next to my 1985 1/2 TriZ. They keep each other company lol. Paid $100.00 for it and all it needs is a drive shaft. Go for it Meat-Box everyone is drawn to mine when they walk in the shop. Especially the ladies lol ! They always say "awww it is so cute and little" Then I tell them its not the size of the trike its how well it gets you there.
You will love it !
