anyone ever heard of a ducati trike? someone in the local paper is selling a 1983 ducati 250cc for $1000.????

They probably mean Tecate, seen this happen before.

hmmm...someones actually got DUCATI and TECATE mixed up before, is it just me or do they sound nothing alike

I saw that in the newpaper too redman, I kinda figured he meant tecate. I emailed ducati awhile back to see if they ever made any trikes. The answer was NO!

I'd go see it if I were you.... seems like there was an old Dirt Wheels when I was a kid that had a Ducati trike in it.... it was a one-off type of thing for racing. Wasin the Over the Bars section with just a little pic. I remember it cause it was Italian. Kinda like the Caviga deal..

The 84's were out in '83. Either that or he just guessed.

People would come up to me all through high school after hearing about the trike I had saying "Dude you got a Ducati?" Got old after hearing it the 2nd time but yeah I see where the mistake could be made and the year, hell I dont know the year of my skidoo...I think its a '90.
