How can I get a title?

I have a 1971 Honda Trail 70 and I bought it with out a title. Anyone know how I can get a title? I want to put licence on this thing. :eek:

File for one at a licensing place. Probably will have to have it inspected.

Go to the department of motor vehicles and ask. In NY the ct70 would be registered as a motorcycle so you would have to send some paperwork and some $ of course out to a title company and they send you the title. I had to get a replacement registration for a moped (mopeds don't have titles in NY) and for that I had to bring in a tracing of the vin # and a bill of sale. My brother has to get a new title for one of his motorcycles so maybe he will chime in with the details.

http://www.its-titles.com/ international title service. I have called them and asked few questions. They sound good and that they know what they are doing. I just haven't filed yet. I have a 1982 Yamaha Seca that I have to get a title for.
