Is there anyway of removing the crank from the left case half, with out bringing it to someone and having it pressed out? Its a 85 250R motor, I've never pulled a crank out, and I dont wanna break the case...... Thanks

Dont know about a honda motor but the crank in a tri-z motor comes out with a lil tapping with a hammer. Is the flywheel already off? If you've never done it trailprotrailpro, you might not know whats required to take it apart.I dont think any crank is pressed in but i could be wrong. Good luck

DO NOT HIT THE CRANK WITH A HAMMER
You can remove the bearing from the left side case by using a heat gun and heating up the area around the bearing. The aluminum case will expand more than the bearing and will allow it to fall out. You then will probably need a wedge type puller to slide the bearing away from the crank drum enough to get a standard gear puller on it and remove it the rest of the way. To reinstall everything is a process of freezing one part and heating the other.
