mistake it is a 1972. i was told it was a 250 twin 2stroke mabey someone put that engine in there i dont know cause i havent seen it . they said they could only get it to run on 1 cylinder so mabey i could get it for cheap. its kind of old but it would be something to start out on. :wondering

I have seen a few dirt bike frames at a local slvage yard with twin cylinder two stroke engines on them. Yamaha was stamped on the side. The years on the identification plates were all in the early 70's.

A few years ago i breifly worked for a dude who owned a bike salvage yard and i remember junking out a yammie two stroke twin but it seems like it was a 350. Suzuki did make a t250 wich was a twin but it was a streetbike seems like a twin 250 would be a turd. and the dt 250s weren't that great ihad one and a suzuki ts250 the zuk is way better. Faster handles betterr better oil injector pressure rod bearing cdi ignition no reed vavles. the dts usually died when a puddle was hit because the pionts would get wet annd the injector cable bent a a sharpe angle wich caused breakage and them smoke the motor and the reeds would warp and cause hard start.
