i have the same problem! I think its a big red thing cause i have a 83 big red and everytime i go out im rolling over. Who knows, maybe cause they are *lawn tractors* and not made for hardcore jumping and such. My friends all tell me im the craziest person they've ever seen on a trike haha Ill have to post some of my pics

It sounds to me like inexperience. You are using a trike for something other than what it is made for. If you want to jump get an R, or Z, or, X, or so on. Do not blame the Big Red because of your actions. If you take a car into a mud hole and get stuck is it the car's fault? Or is it yours for using it in a way that it was not designed for. Big reds are utility trikes and not something an inexperienced rider should use as a sport trike or for pounding on.

Okay, so some times I type faster that I can think. A MUD hole, is that better?

remind me never to lend you my ride !! LOL..

I only put my big red upside down once while i owned it..

I say if you care for your machine and work on a limited budget.. you don't get with the crazy sruff too much.

if you have stinking rich parents and don't give a monkey's butt about your stuff knowing you get it fixed for free every time you wreck it.. then.. yeah. i can see that hapening.

never the bikes fault tho !

Someone needs to remember they have a Big Red and NOT a 250 R

Sounds like your riding it way to hard and its not made for High Speed ripping. Big Reds Bring in serious money if they are nice, sell it and buy a Sport Bike. Then you can rip it up til the cows come home. You need one of These

I first trikes were a 82 and a 83 Big Red. Got them new on the farm when I was in 4th grade. I rode them hard, but never flipped them upside down. I rode it hard too, but I was just a kid at the time livin' up to the dreams and articles of the Bja, Loretta Lynn Scrambles, etc in Dirt Wheels. In fact, I made up a parady song to Dire Strait's "I want my MTV" but ATC! I can't remember the verse now, but it delt with Dean Sundial (sp) ... I did dump it on it's side hard once... I would run up to an iced over spot and turn and slide sideways across the ice. I turned a bit too early once and caught the ice. OUCH! Other than that, I did bend the rear axle on the 82 Big Red... which inturn lead to it eating up wheel hubs. Other than that, I remember getting it stuck in the swamp a number of times, and running over my leg 2x. Both times I was standing on the footpegs with 3 bales of hay on the rear rack and slipped off the footpegs.

Wow.... do you have more pics of that??? Maybe even on a trailer? Wow.... that has to be the nicest Yamaha with sky blue plastics to ever grace this earth! If he can't keep a Big red upright, you ever dream of him driving your immaculate ride? :wondering

i have only dumped my 82 200 on its side 3 times....once was an offclamber hill and i wasnt used to the bike(first week i had it) and then the 2 after that was sliding around the riverbend and there happend to be a beaver dam right there......yea,,you could imagin what happend....but i have never compleatly rolled the bike.....and i ride hard and climb some wicked hills too....it all comes down to rider experiance....and who says you cant jump a non suspended trike! i jumped my 90 off of 10ft kickers in 4th gear, mind you it hurt a little when i landed but none the less it was fuuuuun

Well i never said that its the Big Red's fault. And i am in the process of selling and buying a sports trike. I just need to find a buyer and a seller haha Not much luck yet though. I dont beat my big red, i love er' Shes still in pretty good condition if you look at her in my post "My Clean 83 Big Red" :D
