learn to slip the clutch better when you shift to keep the front end down, its a tri-z its gona naturally wheelie its called 2 stroke power :w00t:
jinxy
03-23-2005, 07:42 PM
I pull of fine, i can go through 1st then when i hit 2nd thats when it hits you, just when approaching half throttle!
Also is the clutch type a wet clutch? as i can shift without using clutch
deathman53
03-23-2005, 07:56 PM
most bikes you can shift without the cluth, some say it doesn't hurt the bike, others say it does, I've never ridden a tri-z, but my atc 250r ripps wheelies all day long if I let it. Sit all the way up on the front of the bike, also what kinda tires you have on it?

All of the 2 stroke water pumpers do that (assuming they're in proper running condition).
You just have to learn how to man handle that thing. ;)

Don't go past half throttle.... :)

Or, don't pin the throttle, just slowly let the powerband kick in. Let the bike rev slowly.

No kidding, even with a 6" extended swinger it still puts the front end up on my T3 no probelm. You could get a wheelie bar, probelm solved. Take it easy on it for a while and get a really good feel of riding it, you will be able to predict it a lot better and over time you will naturaly be able to ride it and control it, it just takes time.

When you mix your oil and gas, only use a 1/4 of the amount of oil that you normally use, with less lubrication this will slow your piston down and help keep that frontend down. :naughty:

Sometimes if you are riding in the UK, but you put in your 3WW profile that you are from Oregon, it fools the trike into thinking its actually in the Rocky Mountains at a much higher elevation than your ISP in the UK, and it runs leaner causing erratic acceleration.
